• Course Enrollment: Name, email, payment details when enrolling in Reiki certification courses (processed through ThriveCart or similar payment providers)
• Communication: Messages, feedback, testimonials you submit voluntarily
• Payment Data: Credit card or payment method information (never stored on our servers; encrypted by third-party processors)

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Website Analytics: Pages visited, time spent, referring website (via Google Analytics)

6. TERMS OF SERVICE

By accessing and using Purple Light Healing & Coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

A. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book sessions or enroll in courses. If you are a parent or guardian booking services for a minor, you are responsible for providing parental consent and attending or supervising the session.

B. Booking & Cancellation Policy

• Booking: Sessions are booked through Acuity Scheduling (purplelighthealingandcoaching.as.me)
• Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation with session details
• Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a refund
• No-Show: Failure to show up for a booked session without 24-hour notice forfeits payment
• Rescheduling: Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment

C. Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of booking
• All prices are in USD
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods
• Invoices are provided upon request

7. NON-REFUNDABLE COURSES & CERTIFICATIONS

A. Course Policy

• Non-Refundable: Once you enroll in and pay for a course, the purchase is final and non-refundable
• No Exceptions: This applies regardless of reason (change of mind, inability to complete, technical issues, etc.)
• Course Access: Access to course materials begins immediately upon payment confirmation
• Completion Timeline: Self-paced courses have specified completion windows (e.g., 90 days). Failure to complete within this timeframe does not entitle you to a refund or extension without approval
• Private 1-on-1 Courses: Once scheduled, cancellation must occur 7 days in advance for rescheduling; cancellations within 7 days forfeit payment

B. Course Content & Materials

• Course materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only
• You may not share, reproduce, or distribute course materials without written permission
• Course content is the intellectual property of Purple Light Healing & Coaching and Jenny Umali
• Unauthorized reproduction or sharing of course content may result in legal action

C. Certification Requirements

• Certification requires completion of all course modules and assignments
• Attunement (for Reiki levels) is a required component and is non-refundable
• Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion
• Certificates are valid for personal use and practice; commercial use requires additional approval

D. Refund Exceptions (Limited)

Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate Charge: If you are charged twice for the same course due to system error
• Course Cancellation: If Purple Light Healing cancels a course entirely (rare)
• Payment Dispute: Legitimate payment disputes will be resolved through payment processor dispute resolution

Any refund request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase with documentation. We will review and respond within 7-10 business days.

8. REIKI & HEALING SERVICES DISCLAIMER

A. What Reiki Is & Is Not

Reiki is a complementary energy healing practice based on the principle of channeling universal life force energy. Reiki:

• Is NOT a medical treatment or cure for any illness or disease
• Is NOT a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment
• Does NOT claim to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease or medical condition
• Works as a complement to conventional medical care, not a replacement
• Is intended to promote relaxation, stress relief, and general wellness

B. Your Responsibility

• If you have a medical condition, illness, or health concern, you MUST consult a licensed healthcare provider
• Do not discontinue prescribed medications or medical treatment based on energy healing
• Inform Jenny of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications before your session (for your safety and comfort)
• You assume full responsibility for any health decisions you make

C. Session Expectations

• Results vary by individual and are not guaranteed
• Some clients report feeling relaxed, peaceful, or refreshed; others may experience different effects
• Reiki is not a substitute for mental health counseling or psychiatric treatment
• Life coaching services are educational and motivational; they are not psychological counseling or therapy

D. Contraindications

Please inform Jenny immediately if you:

• Are pregnant or have pregnancy complications
• Have a pacemaker or other electronic medical device
• Have recent surgery or serious injuries
• Are experiencing mental health crisis or suicidal thoughts (seek immediate professional help)
• Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

A. Disclaimer of Warranties

Purple Light Healing & Coaching services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• Services will meet your expectations or specific needs
• Services will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
• Any defects will be corrected
• Services are free from viruses or harmful components

B. Limitation of Damages

In no event shall Purple Light Healing & Coaching, Jenny Umali, or any affiliated parties be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damages arising from personal injury, emotional distress, or medical conditions
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the service in question

C. Your Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purple Light Healing & Coaching from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Infringement of any third-party rights
